Extended Taliban recognition, a new princess, and bestselling book – October 13, 2021 news briefing

TALIBAN RECOGNITION EXTENDED

Recognition of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has been extended as another legitimate government of Afghanistan. Previously, the government of Gapla had only recognized it as another nation that is not the legitimate government of what it represents (like the People’s Republic of China as “China”) but today has been recognized as a co-official government of Afghanistan together with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

The decision was based on a vote by the Presidential Council on the recognition of territory and de facto status of the IEA as the government of Afghanistan.

A NEW PRINCESS APPPOINTED

Tessa Huffmire is now declared a princess of the Federated States of Gapla after paying all of her dues. Princess Eovnia has been demoted to a Duchess after the Executive Council passed an act that demotes inactive princesses.

The Governor of Elemental and Grand Princess, Chelsea Chen, an ally of the former princess, is expected to make a statement soon about the demotation of Eovnia to a Duchess, as she has threatened to coup the current Gaplan administration if this happens.
